This is a caravan club site, but there is lots of public footpaths nearby. Excellent views. 5 minutes walk from the Monsel Trail, where we hired bicycles and cycled down to Bakewell. Buxton can be there in 10 minutes by car, but there is a good bus service, you can actually get the bus to Derby from the caravan site.
Our accommodation was spacious and suited our needs. The facilities were good and had more than adequate car parking spaces. The farm is in a picturesque area and an ideal spot to visit places of interest.
Stayed at the certified location for caravans. Perfect. Level pitches, well spaced out, easy access and the views are simply wonderful. Totally recommended.
