This is a fantastic area for walking of all different skill sets .The main trail is in my opinion easy as its an old railway line and is accessible to all .Its sits in the Peak District national park with many joining points with good parking available.Millers dale is a beautiful place.
Good free car park and ideally situated for a trek in the hills. Very close to the ruins although not visible from the car park. Google, can get a little confused with the directions and try and get you to go down a one way. As of May 24. Best options are to ask for directions to the reservoir.
Stunning location... We went to the ruins from free car park (no toilets) ice cream /coffee van was there. Easy circular walk past the ruins around the other side and up the hill back down to the car park. Defo returning. Good for all ages but not pram friendly. There are other walks around the res etc which may suit prams I don't know
